Demographic and Community Information or Find a Church?
If you're just looking for a church or maybe for information about a church then the Find a Church page is for you. You will be shown a map with churches mapped accordingly and when you select a church some neat information (pastor, address, phone, etc.) will appear. Some people are more interested in finding demographic information around their neighborhood or church and the Demographic page certainly does just that. In addition to doing everything the Find a Church page does, this one shows information about any selected area and also displays graphs providing more visual representations of certain facts.

Zip Code or City and State?
This website is very picky about spelling and if you don't have the name of the city spelled just the way it expects it then you won't have any luck finding your location. (For instance: St. Paul and not Saint Paul) If you do run into trouble finding an area then try using the zip code or a nearby city.

How in the World Do I Use This Map?
The map is interactive. A small menu directly over it shows what will happen when you click on it. For instance, if "Zoom In 400%" is selected then every time you click on the map it will zoom in by four hundred percent. Note that when zooming or panning the spot you click will become the new center point of the map. On the demographics page when you select a tract or identify a church the map will zoom in/out to accomodate tracts within three miles of your selection.

I Clicked Identify a Church and Nothing Happened!
Church information and graphs (on the demographic page) will appear on the page below the map. Simply scroll the page down to see your requested data. Alternatively, the words "Click here to see your selection." will appear toward the top of the page when you request information. Clicking this link will jump you down to your data.

How Do I Know What the Shaded Areas Mean?
If you're viewing the Standard version of this site you will see a legend pop up whenever demographic areas are selected. The Detailed version of this page will have a link to open the legend in a new window. Look for this underneath the map.
